TPEN Reflection: Solutions

As your business grows, you begin to hit a "ceiling of complexity" where the way you’ve done it before needs to change if you are to continue your forward progress. Tillage practices, planting or harvest strategies, equipment changes, accounting, banking, risk management, human resources and family relationships are just a few areas in which you’ll experience growing pains. The peer group experience shows you that others have solved some of the problems you face, and that you have in fact solved other producers’ problems.

Take Action

Identify the three biggest challenges you face, write them down, discuss them in your business and come prepared to share them at your next peer group meeting.

On behalf of the TPEN facilitation team,

Lance Woodbury
